Our last master class in lockdown - we will look at one iconic work of the most valuable Chinese painter alive Zhou Chun Ya 周春芽 桃花.
We watched a short video of his interview before cracking on.
The key is to get the vivid colours right, the diff shades of pink, the character of the tree branches. Also make the foreground clear and background more blurry, with some details of large foreground flowers of different orientations.
Colours used: Titanium white, cadmium yellow, lemon yellow, cadmium red, crimson red, ultramarine blue, brunt umber. Use Magenta if you have it - more vivid pink
